Meet Yogi, our Animal Friends Pet of the Week!

Yogi has spent most of his life waiting for a family. He came to Animal Friends as a young puppy through our Humane Investigations Department and, due to a lengthy legal process, grew up in our care before finally becoming available for adoption.

Over the years, Yogi has stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers alike. He’s learned great manners, built strong bonds with his handlers and blossomed into a smart, affectionate dog who loves adventures, enrichment activities and quiet time with the people he trusts.

Now, after all this time, Yogi is finally ready for what he’s always deserved: a loving home of his own. He would do best as the only dog in an adult-only household where his playful spirit and big heart can truly shine.

And there’s never been a better time to meet Yogi! August is Dogust, the nationwide birthday celebration for shelter dogs. Now through the end of August – just 6 days away – Animal Friends is making adoptions of all dogs age one year and older price-less. That means Yogi can join your family with no adoption fee or donation needed.
