Animal Friends Pet of the Week: Chimichanga!

Meet Chimichanga – or Chimi, if you’re lucky enough to be in her inner circle – A 3-year-old female dog and our Animal Friends Pet of the Week!

This black and white girl came to us as a transfer from another organization where she was found as a stray, but she hasn’t let her past dim her spirit one bit. With her bright personality and zest for life, Chimi is all about fun, movement and making every day a little more exciting.

At 50 pounds, she’s the perfect medium size — sturdy, energetic and always ready for the next adventure. Whether it’s long walks, playtime in the yard, or just burning off some energy with her favorite people, Chimi is happiest when she’s on the move and part of the action.

She’s a social girl, too. Chimi has done well with other dogs and would be happy to meet a potential canine sibling — a quick meet-and-greet will help make sure it’s a great fit. She’s also comfortable around humans of all ages and would love a family that matches her enthusiasm for life.
