Meet Sonic, our Bully Max Pet of the Week!
Sonic is a 1-2 year old bully mix from St. Thomas. While we don’t know much about his history, he had nowhere else to go and entered the Pawsitive K9 Behavior School foster to train program. He is among the program’s fastest graduates, because in truth Sonic hasn’t shown the need a whole lot of behavior modification work. What he really needs is someone who’s willing to take their time and get to know him as an individual.
He’s a bit unsure of people initially, but warms up when they are respectful of his space and patient with him. He walks politely on a leash, and is happy to accompany you for a spin around the block or a longer hike. We believe that sonic will do well with some dogs, but not every dog, and an interested home that currently has a dog would be required to do a meet and greet before proceeding with his adoption.
